Ph.D. candidates in other departments at The University of Arizona who
wish to take a minor in The Department of Materials Science and Engineering
will be required to take a minimum of 12 units of graduate credit courses
listed in the MSE Department. An advisor will be assigned by the MSE Department
Head. The advisor will work with the candidate to develop a list of courses
that is acceptable to the MSE Department faculty and appropriate with the
objectives of the candidate. The advisor and at least one other member
of the MSE Department faculty shall constitute the student's Minor Committee.
