Graduate Admissions

We welcome applications from well-qualified students who are interested in pursuing advanced degrees in materials science and engineering. Incoming graduate students tend to have diverse backgrounds; in a first-year graduate class, about half have undergraduate degrees in materials science whereas many others have completed degrees in other disciplines such as math, physics, chemistry, or electrical engineering. We also have a distinguished group of faculty who do research n a wide range of fields. If you want more information about the MSE program at The University of Arizona, please read about our degree programs that we offer.
