Work Experience

1997-2004     Instructor for Raytheon Learning Institute
Instructor for many technical courses at Raytheon, including "Fundamentals of Design", a popular 24 hour course with a backlog of over 300 engineers, "Variability Analysis", a 4 hour course on quality design and control; and "Design of Experiments", a 4 hour course on Taguchi Methods. Other courses taught include imaging algorithms, C programming and FORTRAN.

1997-2001     Engineering Fellow for Raytheon Corporation
Chief Engineer for Advanced Programs in Land Combal Product Line. Repsonsible for technical direction of multiple development thrusts for the U.S. Army. Projects include Advanced Imaging Algorithms including pattern recognition and data fusion. Modern Infrared Seekers and Radars for the U.S. Army. Am responsible for providing technical direction for Independent Research and Development, which total over $4 million. Chief engineer for the new Common Missile effort in the U.S. Army.

I have two college textbooks published. "Engineering Modeling and Design" is being used by 5 major U.S. universities as part of their engineering curriculum, and "Metrics and Case Studies for Evaluating Engineering Designs" is being used by 2 different schools.
