Development of a research proposal. Preparation of doctoral
students for the written comprehensive examination.

Introduction and discussion of course schedule.
Proposal title and problem description development.
Literature review.
Peer reviews and revisions.
Proposal presentations and discussions.
Class Requirements:
Attendance, direction and participation in class discussions. Development, writing and presentation
of research proposal.
Computer Usage:
Necessary for preparation and presentation of research proposals.
